Obituary

Albert G. "Bud" Buelter, age 96, of Oshkosh, died Tuesday evening, August 23, 2016. Born on August 21, 1920 in Tilleda, Wisconsin, the son of Albert and Lydia Buelter, Bud married Betty Trinko.
A veteran of WWII, Bud served with the U.S. Army as a Military Policeman in Europe during the Rhineland Campaign, Ardennes Campaign, and Central Europe Campaign. He was decorated for his bravery with the Silver Star. Bud was employed by Leach Corporation as a welder prior to his retirement.
A member of First English Lutheran Church, Bud enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing, and an occasional trip to the casino.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Buelter of Oshkosh, and nieces and nephews. Bud was preceded in death by his daughter, Roxanne Ulrich and his siblings. Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 26, 2016, at 11:00 a.m. in First English Lutheran Church, 1013 Minnesota Street, with Pastor Timothy Greenwald officiating. Entombment will follow the service at Lake View Memorial Park with Military Honors. A time of visiting and sharing of memories will be held on Friday from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the church.
