Alejandro "Alex" Garcia, age 45, of Oshkosh, died Sunday morning, September 5, 2004 at his home with his family at his side. He was born on April 12, 1959 in Mexico to Jose and Margarita (Magana) Garcia. Alex married Adelita Desantos on April 24, 1981 in Fond du Lac.
Alex is a member of Saint Margaret Mary Catholic Church and attended the Spanish Mass at Saint Luis Catholic Church in Fond du Lac. He was employed at the Neenah Foundry at the shaker table. Alex enjoyed working on cars (Ford Motor Company), going to car shows, and car swap meets.
Survivors include his wife: Adelita of Oshkosh; two daughters: Virginia and Victoria Garcia both of Oshkosh; his parents: Jose and Margarita Garcia; brothers and sisters: Javier, Estella, Gloria, Rocio, Leticia, Alfredo, Martha, and Manuel; many nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 8, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. in Seefeld Family of Funeral Chapels, 1025 Oregon Street. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery following the services. Family and friends may call at the funeral chapel on Tuesday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m.
