Alois J. Huber, age 81, of Omro, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 8th, 2022. Al was born on October 13th, 1940, the son of the late Alois and Marie Huber. He was a graduate from Oshkosh High School, class of 1958. Al married Susan Lex on September 14, 1963. He was vice president at A.P. Nonweiler and retired after 50 years. He was a faithful member of Saint Mary's Catholic Church in Omro where he enjoyed working the church picnic and folding bulletins every Thursday morning. He also enjoyed hunting, snowmobiling and spending time with family and friends at the cabin up north. He was a 4th-degree member of the Omro/Winneconne Knights of Columbus #8810.
Al is dearly loved and will be missed by his wife Sue, children Steve, Jeff (Tamme), grandchildren Jake, Alex, Carson, Owen and Bode, nieces and nephews, brother and sister-in-law's Paul and Chris, friends Jim and Gwen Bleuer, Bob & Gail Breu and many other friends from St Mary's Church, Omro/Winneconne.
A visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the memorial mass at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, March 14, 2022 at ST. MARY'S CATHOLIC CHURCH, 730 Madison Ave., Omro. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Oshkosh. The mass will be live streamed beginning at 10:45 a.m. at the link on www.stmarychurches.org.
