Amber M. Johnson, age 20, of Townsend, WI., formerly of Winneconne, Omro and Menasha, died from injuries received in an automobile accident on September 19, 2005. Amber was born on July 14, 1985 in Grantsburg, WI. She was a 2004 graduate of Winneconne High School and was currently attending Nicolet Technical College in Rhinelander, WI. Amber was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church in Oshkosh. She loved spending time with family and friends and also enjoyed taking care of children.
Amber is survived by her mother, Lori Lefeber and her boyfriend Tom Hill both of Omro; her father, Richard Johnson of Townsend; step parents, Joseph and Ann Lefeber of Winneconne; brothers, Adam Johnson of Townsend, James, John, and Joey Lefeber all of Winneconne; grandparents, Sharon Bronk of Menasha, Robert Kuhr of Menasha, Clara Burba of Townsend; step grandparents, Lee and Delores Nay of Madison, IN, and Dennis & Dorothy Ewald of Oshkosh. She is further survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Charles Burba.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 22, 2005 at Wesley United Methodist Church, 761 Florida Ave., Oshkosh, from 5-8 p.m. Funeral Services will be held at the church on Friday at 9 a.m. with Rev. Mark Klaisner officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Home Cemetery in Townsend at 2 p.m on Friday. A memorial has been established.
Amber is now with God, resting peacefully in heaven. She will be missed by all her family and friends.
