Anita A. Knight, age 73, of Omro, died early Tuesday morning, June 4, 2013, at the Omro Care Center. She was born February 4, 1940 in Redgranite, the daughter of Sherwood and Juanita (Beulen) Nourse. She married Edwin L. Knight on March 18, 1961 in Iowa County. He preceded her in death on October 22, 2007. Anita was employed at the Omro Care Center for over 30 years. She had many passions in life which included reading, embroidery, vacationing, traveling with her sisters, TOPS meetings, and the Green Bay Packers. Family was important to her and she cherished the time spent with her grandchildren.

Anita is loved and will be missed by her children, Allen (Molly Buhrow) of Oshkosh, Charlotte (Gary) Schackow of Omro and Wayne (Cassandra) Knight of Omro; grandchildren, Travis Knight, Allan and Cody Schackow, Maggie, Emma and Wyatt Knight; brothers and sisters, Darrel Nourse, Darlene Nelson, Ginger Bosquez, Rosemary (Lorenzo) Bosquez, Eddie Nourse, JoAnn (Larry) Zentner; brothers in law, sisters in law, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Edwin; son, Ricky; brother, Benny Nourse and brother in law, Ignacio "Nacho" Bosquez.

In respect to Anita's memory, her family will greet relatives and friends on Monday, June 10, 2013 at the Omro Funeral Home from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Graveside committal service will be held on Tuesday, June 11, 2013 at the Avoca Cemetery in Avoca, WI. A memorial in her name is being established.

The family would like to thank the Omro Care Center and staff as well as Affinity Hospice for the exceptional care and support given to Anita and her entire family.
