Ann G. LaMay, age 52, of Oshkosh, died Friday morning, September 2, 2016, at Park View Health Center. Born on November 8, 1963, the only child of Verlin "Vern" and Nan (Bachkal) LaMay, Ann was a life-long resident of Oshkosh.
She was a graduate of UW-Oshkosh and taught high school English for a time until becoming a Licensed Funeral Director, serving families in the Fox River Valley area. Ann enjoyed her cats and German Shorthair Pointer, scrap-booking, flower gardening, cooking, holiday decorating, and letters to pen-pals.
Surviving Ann is her friend, Paul, his children, and her good neighbors, Jim and Sue Balza. She is preceded in death by her parents and grandparents.
Memorial services will be held on Wednesday, September 7, 2016, at 7:00 p.m. in Seefeld Funeral Chapels, 1025 Oregon Street, with Pastor Jeffrey Knoll officiating. Interment will take place at Oakwood Cemetery in Berlin. A time of visiting and sharing of memories will be held on Wednesday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
