Obituary

Ann L. Ross, age 80, of Oshkosh, died Saturday, June 16, 2007, at Bethel Home. She was born on May 17, 1927 in Valders, Wisconsin to John and Theresa (Tuschel) Schad. Ann married Donald A. Ross on May 30, 1950 in Clark Mills, Wisconsin. Ann and Donald moved to Oshkosh in 1965. Donald preceded Ann in death on February 26, 1972.
Ann attended St. Gregory Grade School and was an honor graduate of Valders High School. She was employed by Valders Post office for five years, was a food service employee of the Oshkosh School District, and a Sales Manager for Sears Telemarketing Department of northwest Wisconsin and upper Michigan. Ann retired in 1992.
Ann was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, was active in Widow Persons Organization, a volunteer for Winnebago Literacy council and was a volunteer in several areas for the Senior Citizens Center.
Survivors include a daughter, Lynn T. Enos of Marshfield, Massachusetts; a son, Jeffrey J. (Lorri) Ross of Oshkosh; two sisters-in-law, Lenore Ross of Neenah, and Gertrude Ross of Brillion; step-grandchildren, Todd (Jennifer) Nofsinger, Steven Nofsinger and Cheyanne Nofsinger; great step-grandchildren, Tiffany and Michael; and also by several nieces, nephews and many special friends. Preceding Ann in death were her husband, parents, a brother, Leonard Schad, and three sisters, Leona Schneider, Mary A. Schad and Margaret Grady.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 19th at 11:45AM in the chapel at Lake View Memorial Park, 2786 Algoma Blvd., with Reverend Thomas Reyenbeau officiating. A time of visitation and sharing of memories will be held on Tuesday beginning at 10:00AM. She will be laid to rest in the cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family would like to ask that donations be made to the National Kidney Foundation of Wisconsin at 16555 W. Bluemound Road Suite 240, Brookfield, WI 53005-5935.
The family would like to thank Bethel Home for the great care and compassion for our mother. Special thanks to Mickey, Esther and to the many Sojourners volunteers. It was a comfort to have you with us in our time of need.
