Beloved mother, Annie E. Worden, age 94, of Oshkosh, died Thursday morning, December 15, 2005 at Bethel Home. She was born on November 15, 1911 in Kalamazoo, Michigan to William and Clara (Hardman) Stephenson. Annie married Glen Worden on May 10, 1931 in Illinois and he preceded her in death on November 19, 1967.
Annie was employed by Johnson Hills, which later became Fox's Department Store. She was a member of Algoma Boulevard United Methodist Church.
Survivors include three daughters: Evetta (Louis) Agnew of Hot Springs Village, Arkansas; Claire (Edward) Kliss of Neshkoro; Carol (Robert) Dorschner of Oshkosh; two sons: Dellmer (Carolyn) Worden of Easly, South Carolina; George (Judith) Worden of Oshkosh; a stepdaughter: Arvilla Rials; 12 grandchildren: Kelly Lynn Calacci, Gayle Billman, Sue Ellen Calacci, Jody Hirte, Michael Douglas, Renee' Irvine, Jeffrey Douglas, Deanne Dailey, Dell Glen Worden, Dawn Romme, Mark Dorschner, and James Worden; 21 great-grandchildren; 2 great great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Preceding Annie in death are her parents, one brother: William Stephenson; and one great-granddaughter: Kelsey Calacci.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 17, 2005 at 3:00 p.m. in Algoma Boulevard United Methodist Church, 1174 Algoma Blvd., with Reverend Barry Yarbro officiating. Private family interment will be in Lake View Memorial Park. A time of visitation and support will be held on Saturday from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at the church. The family is establishing a memorial in Annie's memory. Annie's family wishes to thank Bethel Home staff and Affinity Hospice staff for the care and support given to their mother and grandmother.
