Arlene F. Berry, age 89, of Oshkosh, died Friday evening, January 21, 2005 at Parkview Health Center-Pleasant Acres. She was born on July 1, 1915 in Oshkosh to Gustav and Ella (Koeck) Schmidt. Arlene married Earl Berry on August 1, 1936 in Menominee, Michigan and he preceded her in death on September 20, 1986.
Arlene was a member of Saint John Catholic Church. She was employed in the food service departments of Lourdes High School and University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh. Arlene was an avid bowler and enjoyed crocheting and needlepoint.
Survivors include one son: Timothy (Tammy) Berry of Shawano; two daughters: Mary (Paul) Daubert of Neenah; Patricia (David) Gannon of Oshkosh; ten grandchildren: Melissa and Alexandria Berry; Michelle, Nicole, and Eric Daubert; Edward and Angela Gannon; Matthew Berry; Glenn and Jeffrey Berry; six great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. Arlene was preceded in death by her husband, parents, three sons: Richard, Robert, and Roger Berry; one grandson: Jason Daubert; two brothers and two sisters.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 24, 2005 at 6:00 p.m. in Saint John Catholic Church with Deacon Raymond Brandenstein officiating. Inurnment will be at Lake View Memorial Park following cremation. Neighbors and friends may greet the family on Monday from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the church.
