Arletta Ann Joas, age 79, of Omro, passed away Wednesday, June 24, 2015 after a brief illness with her loving family by her side. Arletta was born in Kimberly, WI on January 26, 1936, to the late Jesse Ewer and Ruth Jane Huntington. Arletta will be deeply missed by her children, Jay (Lisa) Andrews of Two Rivers, Alan (Teresa) Andrews of Missouri, Larry (Kelly) Joas of Cleveland, WI, Julie (Greg) Moran of Omro and Brian Joas of Omro; her brothers, Richard (Marie) Benedict of Winneconne and Raymond (Linda) Benedict of Butte des Morts; her sisters, Luella (Ronald) Heagle of Oshkosh and Judy (Howard) Fuhs of Oshkosh; her fourteen grandchildren and their families, her many nieces, nephews, and her extended families.We will all miss her baking and cooking; especially her pies and spicy chili, and we will all miss our visits with her.Arletta is preceded in death by her father, Jesse Ewer; her mother, Ruth; her step father, Raymond Benedict; her son, Earl Andrews; her daughter, Jenny O'Leary; her granddaughter, Robin; her sisters, Delores Cihlar and Dorothy Malone; her brother-in-laws, Ronald Heagle, George Malone and Carl Cihlar; and her nephews, Rick and Kim Heagle.Funeral services will be on Friday, July 17, 2015, at Lake View Memorial Park Chapel, 2786 Algoma Blvd. in Oshkosh, with visitation from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 11:00 a.m.
