Obituary

Armenia Minnie Hassler, age 74, of Oshkosh, passed away unexpectedly on December 6, 2017. She was born on April 23, 1943 in Kingsville, TX, the daughter of the late Ronald and Arsenia (Ramos) Zachow. On September 22, 1962 she married her husband of 55 years, Peter E. Hassler. Minnie loved taking care of children and worked many years as a child care provider, both at Children's Development Center and Heart of a Child within Sacred Heart Church. Her days were filled with spending time with her sister, Lali. She also enjoyed shopping, traveling and watching the sunset on Lake Butte des Morts. Minnie will be remembered for her kind and independent spirit.
Minnie is survived by her children: Stephen (Kimberly) Hassler of Minneapolis, MN and Denise (Jerrod) Josephson of Butte des Morts; grandchildren: Rachel and Hannah Hassler, and Senya and Hallah Josephson; sister, Lali (Richard) Stille; and numerous brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews, and extended family in Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband, Peter; son, Andrew Hassler; and her parents.
A visitation will be from 4:30 p.m. until the time of the memorial service at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at Seefeld Funeral Home. Burial will be in St. Margaret Mary Cemetery, Neenah. On behalf of her pet dog, Mayah, her constant companion, a memorial fund in Minnie's name is being established for Oshkosh Area Humane Society.

The family expresses a special thank you to the doctors and nurses at Aurora Medical Center for their dedicated effort on behalf of Minnie.
