Arthur "Big Andy" Eiler age76 of Oshkosh, passed away Wednesday, April 20, 2011 after suffering for many years with Rheumatoid Arthritis. Andy was born on Feb 11, 1935, the son of the late Arthur David & Ruth Lucinda (Rieben) Eiler.
Andy worked at a variety of places as a teen and young adult including Deltox Rug Company, Pellet & Johnson Sign Company, Paine Lumber Company, and Collins Truck Stop before retiring from Leach Company after 28 years.
He is survived by children: Ronald (Roxane) Eiler of Berlin, Audrey Kifer of Oshkosh, Andrew Eiler and Kyle Eiler of Appleton; grandchildren: Jodi Justice of Kissimmee, Florida, Melinda Kifer of Fort Walton Beach, Florida, and Daniel Kifer of Oshkosh; great-grandchildren, Abby and Jake Justice of Kissimmee, Florida; brother, Jack Eiler of Oshkosh; sister, Shirley Durocher of Dade City, Florida; and many nieces and nephews. Andy was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Ethel Nigl; and brothers, Walter and Carl Eiler.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 23, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. at Lake View Memorial Park Chapel 2786 Algoma Blvd. A time of visiting will be held from 10:00 A.M. until to time of the service.
