Obituary
Arthur "Art" James Formiller, age 67, passed away with his family by his side on June 15, 2024, in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. He was born to parents, Arthur Norman and Helen Eve (Washbush) Formiller on August 26, 1956, in Wisconsin.
Art was a lifelong musician in many bands, some of his longest running bands were Hase/Southern Gypsy and Hits. During one of his performances, he met his future wife, Carol Bordeau. They married on August 30, 2019. He was lucky enough to have two loves in his life, the first being his daughter, Anna, and the close second, being his wife. He was always so proud of Anna's accomplishments and was there for every moment he could be along her journey.
He also worked at Plexus for 20 years, up until his retirement as an IT specialist and supervisor. In his free time, he would enjoy watching any type of sports, traveling, and playing with his grandchildren. He will be remembered for being funny, kind and for loving with all his heart.
He is survived by his wife Carol Formiller; daughter, Anna (Blake) Dempsey; stepchildren, Stephanie (Jon) Vassar and Jesse (Becky) Ewing; grandchildren, Skylar, Charlotte and Dylan; brother, Peter (Ann) Formiller; Niece, Mary Formiller; as well as other family and many friends.
Preceding him in death was his parents, Arthur Norman and Helen Eve (Washbush) Formiller; grandma, "Mimi"; parents-in-law; and best friend, Michael Voight.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 26, 2024, at Seefeld Funeral Home, 1025 Oregon St., Oshkosh, WI, 54902 from 1:00pm to 4:00pm with service to immediately follow. His final resting place will be at Green Lake Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in his honor.
The family would like to thank the staff at Aurora at Home Hospice and long-time family friend Mike Hert, for their continued support and compassion during this time.
