Arthur F. Tiffany, age 69, of Oshkosh, died Tuesday evening, April 9, 2013, at Bethel Home. He was born on November 28, 1943, in Rhinelander, Wisconsin, the son of George and Mary (Dumpprope) Tiffany. Art was self-employed for most of his life, but was trained as a core maker at various foundries in Wisconsin. He was a dedicated member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and ardent supporter of Special Olympics, especially the Polar Plunge. Art proudly served his country with the U.S. Army.
Left to mourn Art's passing is his daughter, Michele (friend, Chris) Huebner of Menasha; a son, Raymond (friend, Mandy) Tiffany of Menasha; grandchildren, Brianna, Austin, Harley, Raymond, David, Raechl, and Jeffrey; siblings, Ila Lane of Oshkosh, Carol Dolan of Oshkosh, Delsie Eohringer of Waupaca, Darlene Guzman of Neenah, Dale (Cindy) Tiffany of Berlin, Darrell (fiancee', Donna) Tiffany of Redgranite, Darwin Tiffany of Redgranite, Elaine (Everett) Potteroff of St. Joseph, Missouri, and Leoda Bullock of Fond du Lac; a special friend, Marjean Schroeder of Oshkosh; and several nieces and nephews. Preceding Art in death are his parents, a brother, Wallace Tiffany, a sister, Mary Miller, and two nephews and two nieces.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 15, 2013, at 1:00 p.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 338 N. Eagle Street, with Reverend David Pagel officiating. A time of visiting and sharing of memories will be held on Monday from 11:00 to 1:00 p.m. at the church. Interment will follow at Lake View Memorial Park with full military honors given.
