Audrey Ardell Hoffman, age 79, of Oshkosh was called home to her heavenly Savior, Sunday, October 4, 2009 at Mercy Medical Center, after a heroic battle with breast cancer. She was born July 8, 1930, the daughter of Warren and Ardell (Roberts) Hansen. Audrey married the love of her life, John Hoffman, on September 30, 1956 in Beaver Dam. Always active in her faith, Audrey belonged to several organizations at Grace Lutheran Church where she was also the school's secretary for many years and was a faithful member of the church's bible study class. Audrey also worked 21 years at Sunquist Flooring. She loved spending time with her family, especially going to sporting events or anything involving her grandchildren.

Audrey will always be loved and remembered by her devoted husband John of Oshkosh; her adoring mother, Ardell Hansen of Oshkosh; her loving daughters, Kimberly (Michael) Balas of Cleveland, Ohio, Pamela (Mike) Isaksson of Oshkosh, Stephanie (Scott) Davis of Oshkosh; cherished grandchildren, Megan, Kaitlin and Erin Isaksson and Benjamin and Haley Davis. She was preceded in death by her father, Warren Hansen.

Funeral service for Audrey will take place at 1:00 p.m. Friday, October 9, 2009 at Grace Lutheran Church, 913 Nebraska Street, with Reverend Gregg Schoeneck, officiating. A time of visiting and sharing of memories will take place at the church from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service. Memorial contributions in Audrey's name may be made to Grace Lutheran Church.
