Barbara A. Mobsby, age 78, of Oshkosh, died Wednesday evening, July 24, 2013, at Northpoint Medical & Rehabilitation Center. Born on May 7, 1935, in Hartford, Connecticut, to Walter and Ellen Monahan Landry, Barbara married the love of her life, Fred Mobsby, on October 16, 1953, in Maryland. Barbara was passionate about caring for her family and her career as a CNA working with the elderly in Hudson, New Hampshire. Barbara enjoyed time spent in her garden and yard, interior decorating, and target archery.
Survivors include her husband of almost 60 years, Fred Mobsby of Oshkosh; two daughters and sons-in-law, Linda and Robert Matz of Oshkosh and Jackie and Mickey Jones of Pittsfield, New Hampshire; a son and daughter-in-law, Bruce and Janice Mobsby of Derry, New Hampshire; seven grandchildren, Michael Jones Jr., Rebecca Jones, Jennifer, Michelle, and Sarah Mobsby, Ethan and Tori Matz; and a great-granddaughter, Sudhanna Jones.
