Barbara L. Olm, age 65, of Greenville, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, April 20, 2015, at Appleton Medical Center. Barb was born on May 9, 1949, in Rhinelander, the oldest daughter of Paul and Karen (Knudsen) Moritz. She married Donald Olm on August 4, 1973. When the children got a little older, Barb went back to school and achieved her Associate's Degree in Accounting, eventually working for Fiduciary Partners, a job and a group of people she loved. Barbara was a lifelong knitter, who specialized in "toe-up" socks. Barb's faith was very important to her and she was very active in Women's Celebration Ministry; "Life in the Spirit" and "Lord, Teach Us to Pray" Seminars, and loved the people at the churches they served. Being Nena to granddaughter, Bella, was very special to Barb. Barbara is loved and will be missed by her husband, Pastor Don Olm of Greenville; daughters, Jennifer (Brian) Peat of Hendersonville, TN, and Lisa (Benjamin) Shaw of Murfreesboro, TN; granddaughter, Isabella Peat; mother, Karen Moritz of Rhinelander; sisters, Jeanne (Dennis) Lex of Groton, MA, Laurie Heidemann of Fort Worth, TX, and Cory (Bill) Hoffman of Rhinelander; many brothers and sisters in law, nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends, and church families.
