Omro- Barry A. Jensen, 39 of Omro, passed away Saturday, May 24, 2003. He was born November 30, 1963 at Glasgow A.F.B. Montana the son of Gary and Byrdie Juslen Jensen. He graduated from Wautoma High School in 1982 and then served in the U.S. Army as a Ranger from 1982 to 1986. He later graduated from Fox Valley Technical Institute in Computer Science. Barry married Jane Stewart LeFrance on April 2, 1994. He was formerly employed by Mercury Marine of Fond du Lac as a Senior Programmer Analyst. Barry was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed fishing and hunting and was a member of the Mid-State Dart League.

In addition to his wife, Barry is survived by his parents, Mr. & Mrs. Gary Jensen of Redgranite, WI., brother; Gary Jensen of Hearne, Texas, sister; Byrdie Schulz of Plymouth, WI., stepson; Christopher LaFrance of McHenry Mississippi, godchildren; Dustin and Sierra Schulz, niece; Taya Schulz of Sheboygan, WI, 6 brothers in law, 4 sisters in law, nieces, nephews other relatives and many friends.

Visitation will be held on Saturday May 31, 2003 at the Omro Funeral Home from 12 Noon to 4:00 P.M. with a brief Memorial Service at 4:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers, a memorial as been in established in Barry's name for the K-9 Emergency Response Team which is a non-profit organization.
