Beatrice "Bea" S. Davis, nee Brigham, age 97, passed away at Aurora Medical Center, surrounded by her family, on Monday, April 14, 2014. She was born in Oshkosh on August 9, 1916, the daughter of the late Benjamin and Maude (Colson) Brigham. Bea enjoyed her pets, which included her cat, Trixie, and her dogs, Inky and Blackie. She will be remembered for her joy of reading and being with friends, especially Monday morning breakfasts.
Bea is survived by her children: William "Bill" (Mary) Davis and their sons: David and Michael (Lori); Ronald (Jayne) Davis and their daughter, Peggy Jo Folske; Donna Morgan and her daughters: Laura (special friend, Randy) Scherr, Linda (Jerry) Tritt, Cindy (special friend, Spencer) Scherr, Bonnie Wojahn and Shellie Peters; 17 great-grandchildren; 12 great great-grandchildren; half-brother, Nelson Brigham; many special nieces and nephews of the Pulver family; and many wonderful friends. She was preceded in death by the father of her children, Marvin Davis; grandchildren: Phillip and Paul Davis; special friend, Sy Kadinger; and son-in-law, James Morgan.
The memorial service will be at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 19, 2014 at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, 1860 Wisconsin St., Oshkosh, with Rev. John Czarnota officiating. Friends will be received at the church on Saturday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service. Burial will be in Lakeview Memorial Park at a later date.
A memorial fund in Bea's name is being established.
