Beatrice Ann March, age 92 of Oshkosh died at Lakeshore Manor on Sunday, November 23, 2008. She was born in South Milwaukee on April 28, 1916 to the late Edward and Veronica (Wink) VanHorn. On September 23, 1939 she married Clyde W. March. They enjoyed 53 years of marriage until his death on September 5, 1993.

Beatrice was a member of St. Vincent Catholic Church and an honorary member of their Christian Mother's Society. Bea loved playing cards and was a lover of cats. She and Clyde enjoyed vacationing in Fort Meyers, Florida.

Beatrice is survived by her daughter, Carol (Dennis) Krause of Oshkosh; son, Gerald March of Brown Deer; grandchildren: Scott (Christine) Krause of Omro, Melissa (Kenneth) Hawley of Oshkosh, Tiffany March of Kimberly, and Heather (William) Leaverton of Sherwood; great-grandchildren: Cory and Adam Hawley, and Taylor and Ashley Krause; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, Clyde, Beatrice was preceded in death by her sister, Dolores Vraney.

Funeral services for Beatrice will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, November 29, 2008, at Seefeld Family of Funeral Chapels, 300 North Eagle Street. A time for visiting and sharing support will be held on Saturday at the funeral chapel from 11:00 A.M. until the time of the service. Interment will be in Lake View Memorial Park.
