Bernice L. Jones, of Oshkosh, age 89, passed away peacefully, on Wednesday, October 21, 2015. She was born in Kohler, WI on February 21, 1926 the daughter of the late Daniel and Leona (Kretsky) Frederick. In 1949 she married William Jones in Auroraville, WI. Bernice will be remembered for the love she had for her family.
Bernice is survived by her children: David (Judy) Jones, Mary Krenn, and Susan (Tom) Kitz; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister, Dolores Porter; brother: Ralph (Karla) Fredrick; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Jones; and sister, Roamelle (Richard) Nigbor.
The funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 24, 2015 at TRINITY EV. LUTHERAN CHURCH, 370 Bowen St., Oshkosh, with Rev. Kelly Leary officiating. Friends will be received at the church on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will be in Lakeview Memorial Park.
