Bernice L. Koepke age 91, died Wednesday morning May 14, 2003 at Park View Health Center- Pleasant Acres in Oshkosh. She was born May 27, 1911 in Fond du Lac, WI. the daughter of Charles and Elizabeth Krenn Woeshnik. She was educated in the Fond du Lac School System and was a High School graduate. She married Laurence "Larry" Koepke in Fond du Lac, WI. on September 24, 1940. He preceded her in death on December 8, 1983. Mrs. Koepke was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Omro. Bernice worked for Copp's Grocery Store from the time it opened until 1973 when she retired. Bernice loved flowers, gardening and all people.

Bernice will be lovingly remembered and missed by her son; Laurie (Dorie) Koepke of Omro, 5 grandchildren; Toni (Dean) Thiel of Neenah, Teri Koepke of Neenah, Tyler (April) Krueger of Marion, Tricia (Eric) Fisher of Auroraville and Trevor (Beth Wipf) Krueger of Omro , 4 great grandchildren; Kayla Krueger, Samantha, Brandon & Coleton Fisher, 2 sisters; Lillian Hackbarth of Oshkosh and Iola Benedict of Fond du Lac, other relatives & friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and sister, Violet Crisp.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 20, 2003 at Grace Lutheran Church 720 Jackson Ave., Omro from 11:00 A.M. until the time of the funeral service at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. John Brogaard officiating. A memorial in Bernice's name has been established.
