Bernice H. "Bea" Margis, age 82, of Omro, passed away on Thursday morning, November 16, 2006 at Bethel Home in Oshkosh. Bea was born in Blue Island, Illinois on August 18, 1924 to Chester and Bernice (Koc) Zabinski. She married Arthur Margis on July 25, 1942 in Blue Island. Bea and Arthur moved to Omro after retiring in 1981. Bea enjoyed Bingo and cards.

Bea is survived by her children, Mary Ann (Ross) Lange of Oshkosh, Jack (Maureen) Margis of Crown Point, Indiana, Richard (Kathy) Margis of Indianapolis, Indiana, and Art (Dawn) Margis of Cumming, Georgia; eight grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; her brother, Joe (Bessie) Zabinski of Mississippi. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Arthur on February 11, 2003, three sisters and three brothers.

Visitation will be held on Friday, November 17, 2006 at the Omro Funeral Home from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, November 18, 2006 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 233 E. Scott St., in Omro, with Rev. Joseph Mattern officiating. Burial will follow in Waukau Cemetery.
