Betty Jean Walter (formerly of Berlin), age 85, passed away at her home on Friday, January 18, 2019. She was born on December 7, 1933, the daughter of the late Frank and Lillie Freimark. She married James Walter on May 1, 1965. Betty loved to travel, shop, cheer on the Green Bay Packers and spend time with her family as well as feed the chipmunks and birds at her home.
Betty is survived by her husband, James Walter; her children, Sheldon and Pamela Walter; as well as her granddaughter Stormy (Thomas) Youngwirth and her great-grand dogs who loved visits from Ella Jean and Mack Youngwirth. She was preceded in death by her brother, Victor (Betty) Freimark.
The family will be holding a graveside service for Betty at the family plot in Oakwood Cemetery, Berlin in the spring at a future set date to be published. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be sent to Seefeld Funeral Home, 1025 Oregon St, Oshkosh, WI 54902.
