Obituary

Betty Lou Williams, age 81, of Neenah, WI, peacefully went to her eternal rest on Thursday, March 17, 2016, following a courageous battle with cancer. She passed away with her beloved family at her side.
Betty was born on August 28, 1934, in Oshkosh, WI, to the late Donald E. Laudenklos and Leona (Woldt) Laudenklos. She attended St. Vincent Catholic school and church. On June 21, 1952, she married the love of her life, Donald R. Williams. They were married nearly 64 years and were blessed with six children. Betty worked in Oshkosh at Miles Kimball Co. for over 25 years. She loved people and was always available to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Upon moving to Neenah, Betty became a childcare provider and was "Grandma Betty" to many, many children. She was a member of St. Gabriel in Neenah.
Betty's favorite times were spent with family and friends camping, boating, fishing, snowmobiling, card playing, baking, cooking, and gardening. She loved traveling to local casinos and annual trips to Las Vegas. She traveled through the U.S.; to Mexico; Canada; and enjoyed a Caribbean cruise with her family.
Survivors include: her loving husband Donald R. Williams, Neenah; her children, Diana (Tom) Schultz, Appleton; Larry (Karen) Williams, Oshkosh; Bruce (Carol) Williams, Big Falls; Karen Sue Williams, Temple, TX; John (Debra) Williams, Hartford; daughter-in-law Chris Williams, Oshkosh; and 18 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews, other relatives and dear friends.
She was preceded in death by a son, Gary G. Williams; her parents, Donald and Leona Laudenklos; a sister, Delores M. Brunover; brothers Donald A. (Joanne) Laudenklos, Gerold Laudenklos and her mother and father-in-law George and Adeline Williams.
Family and friends may call at Seefeld Funeral Home, 1025 Oregon St., Oshkosh. Visitation and sharing of memories on Thursday, March 24, 2016, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., with a funeral service at 12:00 p.m. A family burial will be at Greenlawn Memorial Park, Neenah.
The family would like to thank the wonderful staff at ThedaCare at Home Hospice and Dr. John Swanson for the excellent care and compassion shown to Betty Lou.
