Betty J. Wilson, age 92, of Oshkosh, died Friday, August 19, 2016, surrounded by the love of her family at Park View Health Care Center. Betty was born September 26, 1923, in Neenah, WI, the daughter of Ray and Grace (Buck) Curtis. She married Kenneth R. Wilson on March 21, 1946 in Oshkosh. He preceded her in death April 22, 1990. Betty was the most kind, caring, loving mother, grandmother, friend anyone could ever have. She had a good sense of humor and loved teasing and joking around with people. Betty liked dancing, especially dancing the jig. One of her favorite pastimes was shopping with her daughters. Betty's all-time favorite holiday was Christmas and all that went with it. She had worked at Mercy Medical Center in Housekeeping for over 20 years .Betty is loved and will be missed by her children, Mary (Raymond) Rennert, Grace (Thomas) Reigh, Kenneth Jr. (Edith) Wilson, Kathy (Stanley) Velie, Gurney (Cindy) Wilson and Susan (Tom) Jacobs; grandchildren, Raymond Jr., Victoria, Todd, Jennifer, Bruce, Karrie, Alan, James, Annie, Adam, Abby, Kelsey, Morgan, Stefanie and Jamie; 17 great grandchildren; other relatives and friends .Visitation will be held Thursday, August 25, 2016, at the funeral home from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 12:30 p.m. with Pastor Michael Magnuson officiating. Kenny Wilson Jr. will also be sharing his memories of Betty during the service. Burial will follow at Lake View Memorial Park. The family would like to acknowledge and thank the staff at Park View Health Center for their loving care and concern shown Betty throughout the years.
