Beverly Halder, age 74, of rural Winneconne, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her children on Saturday, December 15, 2012. Bev was born November 1, 1938, the daughter of Paul and Luella (Smith) Reinert. She was the middle child of 13, her siblings were, Ruth, Fritz, Harold, Rex, Kenny, Marion, Jim, Bill, Chuck, John, Robert and Judy. Bev was educated in the Omro School System and was a 1957 graduate of Omro High School. Later that year on November 1st, she married Kenneth Halder at Grace Lutheran Church in Omro. He preceded her in death on February 10, 2003. As we mourn her loss, we will never forget who she was in life and we will carry all the precious memories associated with her forever. Bev was very energetic, never sat down and was always on the go. She enjoyed the outdoors, gardening and canning the fruit of her labors. Bev was a great hostess and cook. She shared her happiness with the many loved ones around her through her sense of humor, smile and jokester personality.
Bev was loved and will be missed by her five children, Pat (Mark) Palecek, Brian Halder, Lance (Jan) Halder, Pam (Ken) Markert and Peggy (Dale) Herbst, all of Winneconne; grandchildren, Tim (April), Erin, Karisse (Jake), Cory (Kadie), Adam (Jamie), Molly (Jacob), Sam (Jason), Kendall, Hanna (Brook) and Nash; great grandchildren, Alexis, Alaina, Nathaniel, Damin, Brianna, Jacob, Trenton, Kenadie, Aubrie, Jaidyn and Brynn. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Ken.
A time for visiting will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, December 22, 2012, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the Memorial Service at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. John Covach officiating.
