Brenda Lillian May Boe, age 72, of Omro, died January 21, 2013, at home surrounded by the love, thoughts and presence of her family. Brenda was born May 13, 1940, in a farm house, the daughter of Edward and Lillian (Wolff) Hintz. This woman had so many friends, she is truly a personality, her card playing is legendary, she is known far and wide, playing into the wee hours. A caring woman who thrived on being a grandmother, she lived to love and nurture her children and grandchildren…..she exuded love. Family and friends were
important to her. She also enjoyed reading and listening to country music.

Brenda is loved and will be missed by her children, Don (Cheryl) Magnuson of Redondo Beach, CA, Doug (Rebecca) Magnuson of Neenah, Doreen (Scott) Tessaro of Berlin, Dennis (Krystal) Boe of Green Bay, son in law, Mike Schmidt of Omro; grandchildren, Lexington, Nicole, Doug, Jr., Nichole, Jessica, Karissa, Kaylee, Austin; 7 great grandchildren; brothers, Henry, Lyell, Marvin (Bea); sister, Adele Morris; other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Don; daughter, Donna Schmidt; and brother, Edward.

The family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday, January 24, 2013, at Grace Ev. Lutheran Church, 508 County Road M, Pickett, from 3:00 p.m. until the time of the Memorial Service at 4:00 p.m. with Rev. Jud Krohn officiating.

The family is forever grateful for the compassionate care shown and given by Phil and the rest of the staff at Affinity Hospice.
