Bud I. Hansen, age 86, of Oshkosh, died Thursday, April 28, 2011 peacefully at his home. He was born October 31, 1924 in Fond du Lac. Bud married Laura Shelley on July 3, 1946. A veteran of the Unites States Navy, Bud proudly served four years on the USS Kanawha and was honorably discharged following World War II. In his free time Bud loved to play cards and help out the neighborhood kids.
Bud will be loved and remembered by his wife, Laura; son, Pete Lee Hansen and grandson, Peter Lee Hansen Jr., all of Oshkosh. He was preceded in death by his parents, Peter and Iva Hansen and his mother-in-law, Rose Shelley.
