Carol Ann Foerster, age 75, passed away at Theda Clark in Neenah on Saturday, October 10, 2015, surrounded by her family, and in doing so, the world lost an astoundingly kind, caring, loving, beautiful and strong woman. She was born in Fond du Lac on August 12, 1940 the daughter of the late Edward and Rose (Schilowsky) Balthazor. Carol was an exceptional nurse and worked at numerous healthcare facilities. She had a loving and compassionate bedside manner. Carol greatly enjoyed her spirituality group, the Church Folk Choir, and the Chicken Little Club. In retirement she graciously volunteered her time with hospice while dealing with a multitude of her own medical issues associated with Lupus. She treasured her family and friends, her cat, Kate, and most of all, her grandchildren. Carol is survived by her children: Wendy (Rich Fleury) Fabisiak, Lisa (Mark) Weiher and Michael (Leah) Foerster; grandchildren: Beth and Emily Fabisiak, Allie and Zach Weiher, and Ian and Lauren Foerster; sisters: Mary Haensgen and Patricia (Larry) Wendt; and Kiley and Leah Fleury. She was preceded in death by her sister, Jayne Copet.A memorial service celebrating Carol's life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 17, 2015 at SACRED HEART CATHOLIC CHURCH, 200 S. Peters Ave., Fond du Lac. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Entombment will be at Calvary Cemetery, Fond du Lac, immediately following the service.
