Carole F. Carlson, age 78, of Oshkosh, died Sunday, August 3, 2014, at Century Oaks. On May 26, 1936, Harry and Ferne (Knuteson) Carlson welcomed their daughter into their family.
She was a well-known educator, being a University Professor with the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh, prior to her retirement. Carole co-wrote a book on Autism while at the university.
Survivors include a son, Philippe DesLauriers of Neenah; a brother, Donald (Martha K.) Carlson of Sarasota, Florida; a nephew, Brian (Jennifer) Carlson of Cedarburg, Wisconsin; and a niece, Martha C. (David) Geske of Sarasota, Florida. Preceding Carole in death are her parents and a son, Guillame Andre' DesLauriers.
Memorial services will be held on Friday, August 8, 2014, at 11:00 a.m. in Lake View Memorial Park Chapel, 2786 Algoma Blvd., with Reverend Robert Rosenberg officiating. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.seefeldfuneral.com.
