Obituary
Carole Ruth Mathwig, age 97, went home to her savior on August 26, 2023, in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. She was born on August 20, 1926, to parents, Clarence and Clara (Gomoll) Rennert, in Wisconsin.
She enjoyed art, especially painting and making ceramics. Music also played a big part in her life, starting in high school where she was part of an Acapella group. She later went on to make a solo record for her friends and family to enjoy. Carole had a wonderful work ethic, spending many years in the dental field.
Carole is survived by her son, James (Connie) Mathwig; brother, Ralph (June) Rennert; sister, Bonnie (Donald) Hass; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and many cousins.
She is preceded by her parents; her two brothers; and three sisters.
Carole will be deeply missed, she was a mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and dedicated neighborhood friend.
Service will be held on Wednesday, September 6, 2023, at 11:00am, Seefeld Funeral Home, 1025 Oregon St, Oshkosh, WI, 54902.
