Carolyn Sue (White) (Anderson) Zamzow, age 64, passed away March 29, 2007 after a long 16 year battle with Alzheimer's Disease that she developed at a young age of 47. She resided at Parkview Health Center since 1995.
She was born November 13, 1942, daughter of Grant White and Mae (White) Rackow.
Carolyn worked very hard her entire life to raise her two children, including 15 plus years at Oshkosh Care Center Nursing Home.
Carolyn enjoyed gardening, the outdoors, family get to-gethers, television, attending rummage sales every Saturday with her daughter, spending time with her grandchildren, and cats. She was a huge Green Bay Packer fan and most of all, Elvis Presley, whom she listened to faithfully every day.
Carolyn married Arden Anderson on September 17, 1962 and they were later divorced in 1975, but remained good friends throughout the years. She then married James Zamzow on August 18, 1990.
Carolyn is survived by her ex-husband and friend, Arden (Jackie) Anderson of Redgranite, Wisconsin; her husband James of Berlin, Wisconsin; her daughter, Angie (Todd) Ewald, of Oshkosh, Wisconsin; her son, Todd (Dawn) Anderson, of Oshkosh, Wisconsin; grandchildren: Ryan (Misty) Carder, of Oshkosh, Wisconsin; Brittany Nikole Carder, of Oshkosh, Wisconsin; Jennifer (John) Wolfe, of Las Vegas, Nevada; Alexander Anderson, of Oshkosh, Wisconsin; Destiny and Cassandra Hoefs, both of Oshkosh, Wisconsin; great-granddaughters: Harmony Mae Carder, of Oshkosh, Wisconsin; Lauren and Sherri Wolfe, of Las Vegas, Nevada; sisters: Linda (Gary) Wettstein, of Plymouth, Wisconsin; Beverly "Bootsie" (Larry) Ford, of Glenbeulah, Wisconsin; Susan "Susie" (Jeff) Blanke, of Reedsville, Wisconsin; brothers: Tom (Mary) White of Park Falls, Wisconsin; and Larry (Deloris) White of Roanoke, West Virginia. Several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles also survived Carolyn. She was preceded in death by her mother, Mae Rackow in 1989, and her father Grant White in 1986.
Funeral services for Carolyn will be on Monday, April 2, 2007 at 2:00 PM at Seefeld Funeral Chapels, 1025 Oregon Street. Reverend Robert Rosenberg will be officiating. Family and friends may visit from 11:00 AM until the time of the service. Cremation will follow.
