Cecelia Kiesow died on Thursday, May 20, 2010, at North Point Medical and Rehabilitation Center. She was born in Brokaw, Wisconsin, on October 4, 1918, daughter of John and Bertha (Sann) Barttelt. She lived in Wausau for a few years and moved on to Oshkosh when she was 7 years old. She attended Roosevelt School and Oshkosh High School. Cecelia worked for Richmond Dry Cleaners and then for Miles Kimball. She then committed her time to staying home and caring for her mother.
Lawrence Kiesow and Cecelia were joined in wedlock on July 15, 1944 by the late Rev. Leo Oberleiter in Zion Lutheran Church in Oshkosh. Lawrence died on April 28, 1997.
Cecelia will be remembered and loved by her twin sister Cornelia Reinke; nephew Terry (Renee) Reinke and their children Bryan and Heidi; nephew Keith (Sue) Reinke and their children Chris and Jen; niece-in-law Ann Reinke and her son Steven. Also surviving are brother-in-law Marvin (Marion) Kiesow of New London and their children Harlen and Luann; sister-in-law Edith Butt of Fremont; along with other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Preceding her in death were an infant sister Ellie; nephew Kenneth Reinke; and brothers-in-law, Chester Reinke and Leland Butt.

The funeral service for Cecelia will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 23rd, at the Seefeld Family of Funeral Chapels, 1025 Oregon Street, led by the Rev. Ralph Hanusa. Her family will greet guests at the funeral chapel on Sunday beginning at 1:00 p.m. She will be laid to rest next to her beloved husband at Lake View Memorial Park.
