Obituary

Charles L. Kasuboski, age 79 , of Omro, died peacefully at home surrounded by the love of his family and friends on Wednesday evening, January 27, 2016. He was born December 1, 1936, in Rosendale, the son of Leonard and Margaret (Sina) Kasuboski. Charles attended school in Ripon and was a graduate of Ripon High School. After graduating from High School, Charles entered the U.S. Army and served as a radar technician. In 1960, Charles and Maryann were involved in a motorcycle accident and while still in Berlin Memorial Hospital they were married on July 2. He had worked at Berlin Foundry, Oshkosh Truck, Modern Pole Builders and also worked the family farm. Charles enjoyed bowling, shooting pool with his brother, Dave, drinking beer and eating peas off the vine. He also enjoyed fishing and spearing fish with his sons.Charles is loved and will be missed by his wife of 55 years, Maryann; daughters, Lois Kasuboski, Roberta (Bill) Brayton, Suzanne Milner, Sandra West (Fiance, Paul), Marjorie (Will) Butcher, Bonnie (Patrick) Binning, Tereasa (Scott) Schuster, Mary Rutledge , Diana Kasuboski-Baker; sons, Michael (Fiancee, Laura), Ronnie (Nadene), Roger, Marvin and Paul (Candi); 47 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, brothers, Peter, Joe, Raymond, Fred, Wally; sisters, Marie, Lucille, Angeline, Bernice, Virginia, Theresa; nieces, nephews, other relatives, many friends and his caregiver/nurse, Virginia McCoy. He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Charlotte, brothers, George and David.Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 30, 2016 at Grace Lutheran Church, 384 Oak St., Berlin from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Scott Piper officiating. Military honors will follow the service at church. Memorials in lieu of flowers will be appreciated. The family would like to thank the nurses at Aurora Hospice for all the care and support given to Charles.
