Obituary

Charles (Chip) Rogers

Cherished husband of Nancy (Yourkewicz) Rogers of Falmouth, Massachusetts, Chip passed away unexpectedly on November 5 at the home of his sister, Marcia Streicher, in Menasha. He was here to visit his mother, Ginger Rogers, who was in the final stages of cancer. She passed away hours after his death. Born on April 8, 1955 in Milwaukee to Robert W. and Ginger (Kilham)Rogers. Chip was a natural musician and accomplished on the guitar and piano. He loved animals and as a boy spent cherished summers at Camp Webb in Wautoma working as a "horseboy". He married Nancy Yourkewicz in May 1992 and settled in Falmouth, Massachusetts where he was a social worker of deep compassion. He should have been on stage as anyone who knew him can tell you how he made people laugh.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Aimee Rogers in 1975. He is survived by his wife, Nancy, and cherished animals Toby and Mookie, his
sister, Marcia (Patrick) Streicher, brother, Bradford (Samantha) Rogers, and nephew, Rodman Streicher. He will be missed and remembered always by his brother-in-law and great friend Patrick Streicher and all the dogs of the earth. Chip passed away just hours before his precious
mother, Ginger Rogers, of Menasha. A dual memorial service for Chip and Ginger will be held Thursday, November 9 at 4:30 PM at St. Thomas Church, 226 Washington St., Menasha. In lieu of
flowers, donations can be made to the ASPCA, 424 East 92nd Street, New York, NY 10128.
