Obituary
Christine Marie Hirte, 60, of Oshkosh, passed away September 10, at home after her battle with cancer.
Christine was born on November 29, 1962, in Portage, WI to Richard and Joyce Breitenbach.
She married Daniel W. Hirte on July 17, 1981. They spent 42 wonderful years together.
She loved baking cookies and goodies for everyone. She also enjoyed camping, rummage sales, spending time making the holidays special for family, friends, and neighbors. Especially Christmas with her lights. Christmas will be a little less bright and not the same without her this year.
Christine worked many years at Miles Kimball Company, leaving at the age of 45 to become a homemaker, loving and watching her grandchildren grow. She was a great friend, wife, mother, and grandmother.
She wanted to let everyone know to be happy, go on with life, and do good things for others. Christine will forever be missed by her husband, family and friends.
Christine is survived by her husband, Daniel Hirte; children, Laura (Anthony) Bradley, Brent (Sarah) Hirte, Terri (Christopher) Jarvis; grandchildren, Oz Bartotto, Avery Hirte, Samantha Schlager, Baylee Hirte; and her brothers, Richard, Dennis, Gregory (Nicole) Breitenbach; and sister, Catherine (Robert) Dunn.
A heartfelt thanks to be extended to Casey Reetz and Trica Morell at Aurora Medical Center.
A graveside service will be held at Lake View Memorial Park on Thursday September 14, 2023 at 11AM.
