Christopher J. Olson, age 44, of Oshkosh, died unexpectedly, Monday afternoon, April 27, 2009 at Mercy Medical Center. Chris was born on March 14, 1965 in Kenosha to William and Linette (Picknell) Olson.
A member of the Oshkosh Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness, Chris was a baptized minister of Jehovah's Witness. He enjoyed his time volunteering at Clinical Services in Oshkosh.
Left to mourn his passing is his mother, Linette Olson of Hortonville; his father, William Olson of Illinois; two brothers, Jon Olson of Hortonville, and Phillip Olson of Appleton; two aunts, Linda Reed Schwartz of Burlington, Wisconsin, and Loraine (Jim) Henes of Appleton; a niece, Andrea Olson; a nephew, Brent Olson; and cousins, David, Michael, Stephen, Patrick, Joseph, Mary, Benjamin, and Kimberly. Preceding Chris in death are his paternal and maternal grandparents; and two uncles, Howard Reed, and Norman Schwartz.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 2, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. in the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness, 3343 Omro Road, Oshkosh.
