Christopher S. Rockey "Crockey", Chris' job was completed on December 12, 2021; Chris was born on November 23, 1987 in Neenah, WI.

Chris graduated from Freedom High School in 2006, and then graduated from University Wisconsin-Stevens Point in 2011 with a Bachelors of Science majoring in Paper Science.
Chris was working at Dunn Paper in Menominee, MI as a Quality Control Engineer.

Chris leaves behind his parents, Dennis and Tina (Akstulewicz) of Redgranite, WI; his sisters: AngieLyn Rockey and Bridgett Mitchell of Freedom, WI; his nephews: Dylan Rockey (godson), Brandon Jr. and James Mitchell from Freedom, WI; his godparents: Connie VanDam of Appleton, WI and Edward Rockey from New Berlin, WI; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Chris was preceded by his maternal grandparents Marvin and Virginia (Cundy) Akstulewicz, and his paternal grandparents Clarence and Agnes (McMahon) Rockey.

The Rockey family wishes to express their enormous gratitude for the help in starting a much needed healing process from our sudden and tragic loss. Even now we are finding each and every contact from friends, family and co-workers about Chris in their lives to be the exact need in ours. The expanding scope of people lifts our souls. We hope that all those affected by this loss can find peace in the memories of his life.
Chris took great pride in his work at Dunn Paper. Always saying his most immediate job was the viability of every job at the company. He always made us aware of how good he felt to embrace and solve any customer problem at every chance.

In following with Chris' wishes there will not be a funeral at this time. To honor his desire for a celebration of his life we will gather everyone in 2022.
