Obituary

Charles "Chuck" Heppner passed away quickly on July 18, 2018 at Theda Care with family and friends by his side.
Chuck was born on April 7, 1937 to Charles & Elsie (Lauf) Heppner. He married Betty "Sis" (Chelius) Heppner on April 21, 1958.

Chuck grew up in Glenview, IL. He ran Heppner Foods Store with his brother Donald (Shirley "Stewie") Heppner and their parents until 1977, when all the family moved to WI and purchased Edison Estate Mobile Home Park.

Chuck loved nature and was an avid hunter, fisherman, camper, gardener and painter.

Chuck was preceded in death by his wife, Betty "Sis"; parents; and brother, Don (Shirley).

Chuck is survived by two daughters, Sue (Dan) Ziegler, Nancy (Norm) Reichenberger; grandkids, Kevin (Brenda) Reichenberger, Amy (Kevin) Boldt, Danny (Rachel) Ziegler, Matthew Ziegler, Brad (Sabrina) Lokken; and great grandkids, Hunter, Brooke, Hannah, Kenny & Brayden. Chuck met Chris Grimm-Kirk in August and they had many wonderful times together. He will be dearly missed by many.
The family would like to thank the staff of ThedaCare and ThedaCare Hospice for their wonderful care.

A visitation will be held at Seefeld Funeral Home at 1025 Oregon St. Oshkosh, WI 54902 (on the corner of 11th St. and Oregon St.) on Monday, July 23, 2018 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 24, 2018 at 12:00 pm with a visitation an hour prior at Christ Lutheran at 222 Church St. Oshkosh, WI 54901 with Pastor Connie Weiss presiding and a burial to follow.
