Cindy Lou Kumbier, age 45, died Thursday, January 24, 2008 at Theda Clark Medical Center in Neenah. Cindy was born July 8, 1962 in Oshkosh, the daughter of Darwin and Arlys (O'Neill) Kumbier. She grew up in Omro and was educated in the Omro School System, graduating from Omro High School. During her school years, Cindy was a very good student who excelled at most things she did. She loved to ride horses, write, draw, and she enjoyed sewing and crafts. Cindy was very athletic and loved to play softball. She also played in the school band. Family and friends will recall how she was a good worker and affectionately remember her strong willed nature.

Cindy is loved and will be missed by her son, Justin Schmick (fiancée Danielle Malek) of Omro, parents, Darwin and Arlys Kumbier of Omro; fiancé Mark Mauthe of Menasha; sisters, Laurie Davies of Oshkosh, Connie (Warren) Meuler of Oshkosh; brother Darren Kumbier of Oshkosh; nieces and nephews, Ryan and McKinzi Davies, Brandon and Cody Meuler, Samantha, Alex and Abby Kumbier; other relatives and friends.

Private family services in Cindy's memory will be held for the family.
