Obituary

Clara M. Didlo, age 92, of Oshkosh, died Friday morning, July 10, 2009, at Evergreen Retirement Community. She was born July 22, 1916 in Roy, Montana, the daughter of William and Catherine (Franz) Wood. On November 25, 1937 Clara married John Harvey Didlo in Des Moines, Iowa and he preceded her in death on October 18, 1987. Clara was a member of Grace Chapel and was a former member of First Presbyterian Church, where she served as a Deacon. Clara was a very spiritual individual, belonging to numerous spirituality and prayer groups, especially the healing ministry Order of St. Luke. She was employed by Armand Cosmetics as a traveling sales trainer prior to her marriage.

Those left to cherish Clara's memory are her children, Dee Anna (Harland) Tegen of Omro, Larry Lee Didlo of Oshkosh, John Harvey Didlo Jr. of Clam Falls, Wisconsin, William (Konnie) Didlo of Frederick, Wisconsin, and Mary Lou (Gary) Johnson of Omro; 7 loving grandchildren, Lynn, Mark, Tessy, Tammy, Wanda, Andrea, and Emily Clara; and 7 dear great-grandchildren, Kimberly, Kari, Michael, Garrett, Larkin, Morgan, and Rachel; a sister and brother, Colleen Kruft of Park Rapids, Minnesota, and Richard (Carmen) Wood of Mandan, North Dakota; and several nieces and nephews. Preceding Clara in death is her husband; grandson Jay; and siblings, Alice Condon, Catherine Koloski, Mary Kirschman, and William Wood. One family member wrote "Clara Didlo is our pretty nanny. She loved her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She prays for her friends and family and knows the healing powers of Jesus. All who know her are blessed because of it."

Funeral service for Clara will take place at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 14, 2009, at Seefeld Family of Funeral Chapels, 300 North Eagle Street. Visitation for family and friends will be held on Tuesday from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. at the funeral chapel. Interment will be in Clam Falls Cemetery. A memorial is being established in Clara's memory.
