Clarence T. Bloede, age 92, of Omro, died Friday, May 13, 2005 at Omro Care Center. He was born December 6, 1912 in Waushara County the son of William and Ida (King) Bloede. He married Onieda B. Lehman September 25, 1937, in Auroraville. She preceded him in death on July 7, 1991. Together they made their home and farmed in the Borth area, retiring from the farm in 1959, and have resided in the city of Omro ever since. Clarence was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Borth and will be fondly remembered as a hard worker who enjoyed gardening, smoking fish, making apple juice and sauerkraut and fishing. He was a retiree of Universal Foundry in Oshkosh.

Clarence is survived by one son and daughter in law, Kenneth and Dorothy Bloede of Omro; one daughter, Shiela Piotter (friend, John Ammeter) of Omro; grandchildren, Randy Bloede, Larry Bloede (Debby), Mike (Deanna) Bloede, Lorri (Lorin) Sternberg, Brenda (Dave) Werner; 11 great grandchildren; brother, Louis Bloede of Denver, CO., his dear friend, Irma Buhrow, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, brothers, Henry, August, Claude, Ben, Alfred and two infant sisters.

Visitation will be held on Monday, May 16, 2005 at the Omro Funeral Home from 4 – 8 P.M. and then again on Tuesday, May 17, 2005 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Borth, from 12:30 P.M. until the time of the funeral service at 1:30 P.M. with Rev. Brian Beardsley officiating. Burial will be in Burdick Cemetery in the Town of Rushford. A memorial has been established. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Omro Care Center, Affinity Hospice and Pastor Brian Beardsley for their genuine care and concern.
