Clarence H. "Kelly" Holm, age 85, of Omro, died peacefully Monday evening, August 10, 2009, at Omro Care Center. Clarence was born on April 22, 1924, in Saxon, Wisconsin, the son of John and Anna Holm. He married Elsie Ijas on December 27, 1947 in Ironwood, Michigan. Clarence enjoyed woodworking, feeding and watching the birds and squirrels in his yard, and he loved visiting with family and friends.

Clarence will be missed by his wife of 61 years, Elsie of Omro; his daughter, Bonnie (Jim) Kriha of Ripon; son, Dennis (Ann) Holm of Fond du Lac; grandchildren, Cindy Kriha (Fiancée Matt Morse) of Pickett, Russ Kriha of Berlin, Sara (Raymond) Miller of Sheboygan, and Nick Holm of Fond du Lac; great grandchildren, Kaylee Kriha, and one soon to be born; brother, Richard Holm of Ironwood, MI; other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandson, Jeff Kriha; brothers, Elmer, Harold and Leonard; and his sister, Violet Schreens.

In respect to Clarence's memory, the family will greet relatives and friends on Friday, August 14, 2009, at Grace Lutheran Church, 720 Jackson Ave., Omro from 9:00 A.M. until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. Paul Mundinger officiating. Burial will follow in the Omro Cemetery. Memorials to Grace Lutheran Church would be deeply appreciated.
