Obituary

Clement P. Goodacre, age 87 of Oshkosh, died at North Point Medical and Rehabilitation Center on Sunday, August 17, 2008. He was born to Clifford and Faith (Harris) Goodacre on June 28, 1921.

During WWII Clement joined the U.S. Army and served from 1942 until 1946. He was an avid deer hunter who loved the outdoors. When he was younger he was a Golden Glove Boxer. He was a happy go lucky man who was cute and funny in his own way.

Clement is survived by his children: Sharon (Bob) Hillsburg of Hayward, Ricky Goodacre of Stevens Point, Roxanne (Earl) Nelson, Clement Jr. (Kathryn) Goodacre, and William "Billy" Goodacre all of Oshkosh; 15 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren. He is further survived by siblings: Donald, Norman, and Lee Goodacre, Mary Ann Rauch, and Rose (Ed) Mork; and sister-in-law, Rose Goodacre. In addition to his parents Clement was preceded in death by siblings: Reinhold, Carl, Richard, Earl, Benny, Clifford Jr. Goodacre, and Louise Klatt; and former wife, Agnes Goodacre Tappy.

Funeral services will be held for Clement at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, August 21, 2008, at Seefeld Family of Funeral Chapels, 1025 Oregon Street, Reverend Randall King officiating. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery where full military honors will be given. A time for visiting and memories will be held at the funeral chapel on Thursday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service.
