Obituary
Clifford Charles "Cliff" Hart Jr., age 85, passed away on December 7, 2024 in Oshkosh, WI. He was born on June 14, 1939 to parents, Marjorie (Grant) and Clifford C. Hart Sr. in Poygan, WI.
Cliff worked in construction for many years in Oshkosh and Phoenix, AZ. He was a hard worker and enjoyed this trade of work, and the extremely hot weather of Arizona. He was a good friend to many and he valued their friendship. If you needed something, Cliff was there to do what he could. He enjoyed NASCAR and his favorite local Wisconsin circuit driver was Richard "Dick" Trickle. He attended many races to cheer on his favorite. Cliff also attended an Elvis concert with his wife, Judy, in April, 1977, at Brown County Arena. He still held onto their tickets from the concert, along with the 8-track tapes. Cliff enjoyed his afternoon friendship at the Distillery Pub (also known as "D-Pub") and The Magnet of Oshkosh. He was very social and fond of this time spent with the bar camaraderie.
He is survived by his children, Jim, Mike, Karen and Tammy; along with their families including spouses and grandchildren. Additional family members including his sister-in-law, Barbara (Harold); as well as nieces and nephews, Vicki, Debbie, Rick, Steve and Shawn as well as their families.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Clifford Sr. and Marjorie Hart; children, Susan and Jerry; grandchild, Jeremy Johnston; brother, Bob Hart; and the mother of his children, Judy (Lebakken) Klimke.
Per his wishes, no formal services will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be submitted to your local animal shelter in Cliff's name. A time of fellowship will be held at D-Pub on March 1, 2025 at 3pm, please feel free to come and raise a glass of Coors Light or Kessler's to celebrate Cliff's life!
Cliff's nieces, Debbie and Vicki would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Mark Hildebrand and Stan. Mark, you have maintained Cliff's wishes and being a supporter, Cliff valued your friendship. Stan, you have been Cliff's advocate, and he trusted your judgement and welcomed your advice.
