Darlene C. Anderson, age 64, of Omro, passed away on Monday, June 09, 2008 at Appleton Medical Center after a short battle with cancer. She was born in Berlin, WI on January 11, 1944, to Erwin and Lola (Schmude) Krueger. She graduated from Omro High School in 1962 and married Elwyn J. "Andy" Anderson on July 17, 1964. Darlene was a dedicated wife and mother, who enjoyed time with her family, especially her grandkids. She was a talented seamstress, who used her gift to help others, making many Cancer Quilts over the years.

Darlene is survived and will be missed by her husband of 44 years, Andy Anderson; her children, Troy (Terri) Anderson of Rio Rancho, NM, Jodi (Todd) Jari, of Omro, and Tony (Kim) Anderson of Omro; her grandchildren, Mark, Tyler, Spencer and Brady; her parents, Erwin and Lola Krueger, of Omro; her sisters, Karen (Ray) Fraleigh and Lynda (Wyatt) Miller, both of Omro. Darlene's family would like to thank the Staff at Appleton Medical Cancer Center, for their kindness and care.

A private family service for Darlene will be held. Memorials may be directed to the Appleton Medical Cancer Center in Darlene's name.
