David Glen Mayer Sr., age 79, passed away on Wednesday, December 22, 2021. He was born on August 30, 1942 the son of the late Wilbur G. and Icyl K. (Pansie) Mayer. On March 6, 1971 he married the love of his life, Molly J. Wagner, in Oshkosh. She preceded him in death on May 1, 1998. David was proud to serve as a drill sergeant in the Army Reserve. He and his brother, John P. Mayer, owned and operated Pansiewood Farms, Inc., selling Steiger tractors and other implements. David and John loved to be a part of the agricultural community and deeply appreciated getting to know all of their clients and customers over the years. David will be remembered for being a hardworking and devoted farmer, father and grandfather.

David is survived by his children: Dana J. Mayer, David G. (Amanda) Mayer Jr. and Kerrie J. (Kelvin Smith) Mayer; grandchildren: Kyleigh R. Robbins, Aurora J. Smith and David G. Mayer III; and many other dear relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Molly J. Mayer; daughter, Heather N. Mayer; and brother, John P. Mayer.

A private family service will take place at a later date.
