Deanna R. Tod, age 63, of Oshkosh, passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, July 4, 2004. She was born on April 9, 1941 in Oshkosh, a daughter of the late William Henry and Rose Adeline (Rynar) Miracle. Deanna married Reginald Joseph "Reggie" Tod on August 31, 1968 in Oshkosh. He preceded her in death on July 14, 1998. She was a member of St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church and had worked for the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh Food Service Department retiring after 22 years of service.
Survivors include two daughters, Pamela (Dennis) Schultz of Oshkosh and Vicki (Michael) Quinn of Oshkosh; grandchildren, John, Elizabeth and Abigail Schultz of Oshkosh; Lindsey and Zachary Quinn of Oshkosh; four sisters, Joyce Steinert of Oshkosh, Alyce (John) Little of Winneconne, LaVerne (Paul) Ulrich of Berlin and Donna Matthias of Camp Douglas; three brothers, Harvey (Nancy) Miracle of Auroraville, James Miracle of Butler and Roland (Maxine Hazen) Miracle of Oshkosh. She is further survived by other relatives and many special friends. She was preceded in death by brothers, William and Burton; sisters, Arlene and Lolus; a grandson, Ian Quinn.
Funeral services for Deanna will be held on Thursday, July 8, 2004 at 6:00 p.m. at the Seefeld Family of Funeral Chapels, 1025 Oregon St. with the Reverend Joel Olsen officiating. Burial will be in Brooks Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the funeral chapel on Thursday from 3:00 p.m. until the time of service. A memorial fund is being established in her name. Deanna's family wishes a sincere thank you to Dr. Karen Gremminger and staff along with the Affinity VNA and Hospice and Rhonda of Home Instead for all of the care given to Deanna during her illness. Also, sincere thanks are extended to all of Deanna's family and friends for the loving support over the past year, especially the support this past month in helping Mom stay at her home.
