Della Mae Tice, age 84, formerly of Omro and Elm Grove, Wisconsin, passed away Monday, August 22, 2005 surrounded by the love of her family. She was born October 30, 1920 in Lakewood, Nebraska. She was married to Royal K. Tice for 56 years; he preceded her in death on April 13, 2002. Della is survived by her sons, Kenneth, Roy, William, Robert, and David Tice; daughter, Marcia Tice-Bennett, and 10 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clyde Bates and Ila Bates-Friend, husband, Royal; sister, Dorothy Heady; and sons, Dale and James Tice.

Visitation will be held on Friday, August 26, 2005 at the First Presbyterian Church, 955 N. Webster St., Omro from 6:00 P.M.- 8:00 P.M. and then again on Saturday at the church from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. Edward Slusser Officiating. Burial will be in the Omro Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made out to the Royal and Della Tice Scholarship Fund.
